Excelling in CVC

“Dominating Clan vs. Clan (CVC) and Maximizing Your Impact in AT”

Clan vs. Clan (CVC) is one of the most exciting and competitive aspects of Raid: Shadow Legends. In Afternoon Tea (AT), CVC isn’t just an event—it’s a cornerstone of our progression system. Your performance in CVC directly impacts your Afternoon Tea Index (ATI) and determines your eligibility for promotions. Whether you’re a new member or a veteran, mastering CVC is essential for climbing the ranks.

CVC is a competitive event where clans face off to earn points based on individual and collective performance. The higher your tier (e.g. T6), the more competitive and rewarding the event becomes. Key aspects of CVC include:

  • Active Participation: Contributing points in every CVC round is encouraged.
  • High-Point Scoring: Scoring as many points as possible, especially during PR (Personal Rewards) rounds.
  • Resource Management: Saving energy, gems, shards, and forge materials to maximize your points during CVC.

CVC PR (Personal Rewards) rounds are special events where players can earn personal rewards in addition to clan rewards. These rounds are a major focus in AT, and here’s why:

  • Favored Performance:
Players who push hard during PR rounds are heavily favored in evaluations.
PR rounds test your dedication, resource management, and competitive spirit.
  • Impact on ATI:
Strong PR performance significantly boosts your ATI, making you eligible for promotions.
Consistently excelling in PR rounds demonstrates your value to the clan.
  • Competitive Edge:
PR rounds are a chance to showcase your endgame readiness and commitment to the clan’s success.

To maximize your impact in CVC, follow these tips:

  • Plan Ahead:
Save resources like energy, gems, and shards in the days leading up to CVC.
Focus on high-point activities such as 3v3 Tag Arena, Ascensions, Skill Upgrades, Great Hall, Forging etc…
  • Push During PR Rounds:
Allocate time and resources to maximize your points during PR rounds.
Aim to hit personal reward milestones to demonstrate your commitment.
  • Communicate with Your Clan:
Coordinate with clanmates to ensure everyone is aligned on goals and strategies.
Seek advice from leaders or experienced players to optimize your performance.
  • Avoid Inactivity:
Scoring 0 points in any CVC round will mark you as inactive and result in being moved to an inactive container.
Always contribute points, even if it’s just a minimal amount.

In AT, we value consistent participation and teamwork, which is why inactivity is taken seriously. Here’s what happens if you score 0 points in a CVC round:

  • Marked as Inactive:
Profiles with 0 points are immediately marked as inactive and moved to an inactive container.
This policy applies to all members equally, regardless of extenuating circumstances or prior communication.
  • Reinstatement Requirements:
To return to an active container, you must demonstrate consistent participation and improved performance in subsequent CVC rounds.
While we encourage open communication and appreciate members informing leaders of any challenges, the inactivity policy remains consistent to ensure fairness for all.
  • Failure to Improve:
Continued inactivity or failure to meet reinstatement requirements may result in removal from the clan.

If you know you’re going to be inactive or busy, the best course of action is to request a temporary demotion and reside in a container that you are overqualified for.

For example, if your ATI qualifies you for Container 3, you’d want to position yourself in Container 4 or 5 until you’re ready to be active again. This ensures you’re not penalized for inactivity and allows you to maintain your standing within the clan.

CVC is a critical component of your journey in AT. By actively participating, pushing during PR rounds, and managing your resources wisely, you can maximize your impact and climb the ranks. Remember, consistency is key, avoid inactivity and always strive to contribute to the clan’s success.

If you have questions or need guidance, reach out to your leaders or join the discussion on Discord. Let’s dominate CVC together and continue growing as a team!
